Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before booking any cleaning service with Luxe & Scrub. By making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Our Services

Luxe & Scrub provides professional cleaning services to homes across Hemel Hempstead and the surrounding areas of Hertfordshire. The specific scope of each clean is agreed prior to the appointment and confirmed by email.

2. Quotes & Pricing

All prices are quoted in British pounds sterling (GBP) and are inclusive of labour and cleaning materials unless otherwise stated. Quotes are provided based on the information supplied and are valid for 30 days. We reserve the right to adjust a quote if the actual condition of the property differs materially from that described.

3. Booking & Confirmation

Bookings are confirmed by email. A booking is not confirmed until you receive written confirmation from Luxe & Scrub. We reserve the right to decline any booking at our discretion.

4. Access to Property

You are responsible for ensuring that our team can access the property at the agreed time. If access is not possible and we have not been given at least 24 hours’ notice, a cancellation charge may apply (see Section 5).

5. Cancellation Policy

We require at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a charge of up to 50% of the agreed service fee. We reserve the right to waive this charge in exceptional circumstances.

6. Our Liability

Luxe & Scrub carries full public liability insurance. In the unlikely event of accidental damage caused by our team, please notify us within 24 hours of the clean. We will investigate and respond within 5 working days. Our liability is limited to the repair or replacement of damaged items at our discretion.

We are not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage resulting from unsuitable cleaning products specified by the client.

7. Your Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information about the property when requesting a quote
  • Ensure the property is accessible at the agreed time
  • Inform us of any hazards or special requirements prior to the clean
  • Secure or remove any irreplaceable or high-value items before the clean

8. Payment

Payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking. We accept bank transfer and other payment methods as agreed. Outstanding invoices are due within 7 days of the service date unless otherwise agreed in writing.

9. Complaints

If you are not satisfied with any aspect of our service, please contact us within 24 hours at info@luxeandscrub.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve the matter promptly.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. The current version will always be available on this page. Your continued use of our services following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
